WHO ARE THEY?!
BASICALLY...
Zig, Beht and Gorrik are the "shady three-man team" that Rallen and Jeena first meet on Menahat, upon entering Dyrus' camp in the Origins game. They show up every now and then during the player's time on Menahat, accidentally helping to find the locations to the ruins elevators. At one point, there's this side-plot where they kidnap Neal for Dyrus since he's just that desperate to sell historical artifacts for money's sake... Yeah. Good stuff.

ZIG
"Uh-oh! Guess the cat's outta the bag! But I ain't stickin' 'round to put it back in. We gotta get outta here now!"
"Uh-oh! Guess the cat's outta the bag! But I ain't stickin' 'round to put it back in. We gotta get outta here now!"
In-game Description
Leader of the shady three-man team working for Dyrus. A man of action, but tends to lose his cool. Has high respect for his boss.
Appearance
Easily recogniseable as the smallest one of his group of three. He wears a long yellow coat, brown pants and a yellow outback hat with goggles banded around the crown. Around his neck, covering his nose and moth, is a giant red muffler scarf. He wears white & brown gloves and boots to match his two companions.
Personality, history, etc. from dialogue & gestures
- Aggressive.
- Moves quite drastically, gestures are large to exaggerate his emotions, particularly negative ones
- Stubborn. Like, really, really stubborn.
- Got more common sense than you'd think. Probably the most logical of the bunch.
- Hates admitting to inadequacy.
- Likes working for Dyrus because of his "no-holds-barred style".
- Possibly unaware how low Dyrus thinks of him and the other two.
- Tends to take credit for his group's successful actions.
Trivia
- In the Japanese release of Origins, he's equally as stupid as Beht and Gorrik. He doesn't bicker with them. The three of them agree every step of the way
(Although I might check this, later. Problem is, I don't think I'll be able to gather the time and energy to translate their dialogue word for word on my own... Ah...)
By the way, he also gets called Aniki by Gorrik!
BEHT
"Yeah, but they could say the same about us, Zig. I mean we're not exactly boy-next-door material."
In-game Description
A member of the shady three-man team working for Dyrus. Tends to be smug and disrespectful of authority, especially Zig's.
Appearance
The tall, lean one of the trio. Wears a yellow outback hat, a red bandana covering his entire head and single-lens goggles. Layers a brown (possible) jumpsuit over a yellow T-shirt, a belt and chaps. His gloves and boots match the other two's.
Personality, history, etc. from dialogue
- Assertive, but in a pretty calm & collected way
- Stands like a "cool" guy and looks like he's chill n' knows what he's doing.
- He's not actually that smart.
- The most aware of the situations he's in, but doesn't apply that knowledge to his actions
- Doesn't seem to care about a lot of things, even when his life's in danger
- Talks about losing his job like it's nothing
- Probably takes up reading as a hobby
- You'd end up saying "you don't say!" to him, at least once
- Lost a job, at least once before. I wonder what it was?
Trivia
- You cannot see this guy's face. Ever. I don't think his model even provides it.
---------
"Kidnapping is an awfully strong term, don't you think? It's more like they forced him to go with them or else!"
In-game Description
A member of the shady three-man team working for Dyrus. Low man on the totem pole. A big guy with a lot of energy.
Appearance
Identifiable from his large build compared to the other two. Wears a short stylised cloak, with a collar high enough to cover the bottom half of his face, over a blue T-shirt. His pants are blue, probably denim. On his head is a hard hat and round goggles over his eyes. Wears the same gloves and boots as the other two.
Personality, history, etc. from dialogue
- Passive.
- Really enthusiastic and, not necessarily in a bad way, child-like
- Always gets guard duty
- Has this thing where he'd say three different terms that have the same meaning in a row. He blames caffeine for this (and also the tightness of his helmet).
- Speaking of which, he may or may not have a caffeine addiction.
- Nobody has ever really "thanked" him before, or at least in a long time, for anything.
Trivia
- In the Japanese release of Origins, Gorrik would say "—Yo !" at the end of many of his sentences
---------
Extras
- According to Gorrik, Dyrus' punishments for when they fail to do what he says is pretty violent. Goes as far as going into an uncontrollable rage and sometimes "clobbering" them, even.
