Seriously though

How the hell do people find this blog?

Random thought about Dyrus Industries

Kind of random, but I just began wondering if Dyrus has ever hired any female workers to work on Menahat, or in anything similar in nature to what the workers we see in the camp do. I mean, Spectrobes is a sci-fi and set in the far, far future, and in the modern (our) world, I've been seeing the number female workers in blue-collar industries increase over the years. So, maybe it's possible that he has. Sure, there's some of Dyrus's dialogue towards Jeena (i.e. calling her a "Planetary Patrol Princess", and telling her she's got "a big mouth for such a little girl"), but he did try to convince both Rallen and Jeena to work for him because he sees quality in both their abilities (albeit, mostly Rallen). Operating on Dyrus's vibes, though: probably unlikely lol.

Watching that Pokemon anime series

Y'know that Pokemon anime series that began in the 90s? Yep, I'm watching that. Slowly getting myself into Pokemon, because we know we'll never get more Spectrobes. And also because there's definitely no more boys from Menahat that's ever going to happen again.

Oh, it looks like Netflix isn't being too peeved about screenshotting now, haha

Pretty clear how I can look at Dyrus's bumbling henchmen and think of Team Rocket, so that may as well be the next best thing we've got, haha. I've always loved them. Fun fact: I saw that movie -- the one with Mewtwo and all the team of copies -- as a little kid (like age 4-5). I loved Team Rocket there too. Squirtle was my favourite Pokemon!

Also, I'm also considering getting into Fossil Fighters as well. Y'know, another DS monster-colleceting game that's got fossil excavation as part of its gameplay. I hope there's also a team of bumbling henchmen somewhere in the series -- that'd be absolutely perfect!

Favouritism?!

I swear that's not the case

I think I owe Beht an apology

I'll compensate

Hired muscle

I'm happy this video exists

favourite character type ever

this deserves to be on the is blog

This is the entirety of Dyrus's camp, literally

Feat. the Gate Guy

Knowing there will never be more of these guys😔

Dyrus's got an idea.

Y'know, with all the ruins raised in the Great Desert, Dyrus would totally take full advantage of that and turn it into a tourist spot. Assuming he can somehow transform (at least) his work camp into a less unappealing place...

The "huge boulder", huh?

OKAY, everyone has thought this. Who in the right mind would see this and think it's a BOULDER...?

(from this video by Be Humboldt)

I'm no geology expert, but if any ordinary person got told to look for a huge boulder in the middle of a desert, they would probably not try to find this formation.

Also, fun fact:

(from this video by 廉-Ren-)

I've seen in the Japanese release of Origins that the book Beht references actually mentions that the next ruins entrance is at "a place covered by the hands of a giant rock", which would be a lot easier to get xD

Nealhilism?!

Oh Neal, don't ask that!

Some random stuff

I'm surprised I hadn't done this earlier in my life xd It's full of desert themes (any type), as well as anything that gives off the feeling of any of the locations/characters we see in Menahat.

One of my brothers pointed out how this rhymes, and I now can't unread it like that

Although this is a decently drawn hand, it doesn't work with the pose, so I'm gonna re-do it :') I don't wanna lose it forever tho

I haven't spoken about Neal enough

Zig, Beht & Gorrik as Streets of Rogue custom characters :D

Zig here's the stealthy type who also best relies on hireables.

Beht's more on using his knowledge to progress.

Gorrik has a more head-on approach xD

THAT'S NOT TEAM ROCKET?!

REDRAW

I don't know much about Pokemon, but I did like Team Rocket from the anime :O

They would have moments like this

I envy the brothers, sometimes

Sometimes I really envy the bond that the bears have with each other. And also the way that I interpret Zig, Beht & Gorrik's bond. No matter how much they argue, they're always fine in the end and it's easy for them to help each other. Sometimes, it's not with me and one of my brothers, though. Sure, we get along most of the time, but it really feels like we're really incompatable when it comes to dealing with my more bad traits. At least everything goes well in the end, but it's a pretty bad feeling.

My favourite desert music for the boys from Menahat

Oh?

Maybe I'll eventually forget about this, but I'll try finish it!

One of these days I'm gonna make a crack quiz that'll decide with NPC from Origins you are. That's my field. Right up my alley.

Replaying Origins with my brother

I'm back on Menahat, babyyyyyyy!!!!!!

One of the things I will never forgive Origins for

They say stuff about the big city over in Wyterra. Some NPCs keep saying to Rallen & Jeena, "you guys gotta visit there someday!" All the anti-gravity stone tech n' stuff's all there to its highest potential, too. Man, I would've loved if there was more exploration n' stuff.

Dyrus/Cyrus stuff

Pretty sure we all know that Cyrus is infinitely better than Dyrus, despite being almost the same greedy billionare guy on a desert planet among some colonies full of miners n' crap like that. (I think the main difference between them is that one's an item collector and the other's a businessman? I'll check on that later)

Fun fact: I even use Cyrus' design as a reference when drawing Dyrus in my art xD But despite everything, I'll still use Dyrus' character in my stuff since he lives in the Kaio System, and so do the three guys.
